By the Dawn and Ten Nights, by that which is Even, and that which is Odd; by the night, when it passes away! is there not in this an oath for a man of sense? Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with Aad? Iram of the pillars, whose like has never been built in the whole land? And with Thamoud, who cut out among the rocks of the valley (to make dwellings)? And with Pharaoh. Owner of the stake? They had transgressed in the land and made therein much mischief. Verse 1-12 Surah Fajr / Surah Al Fajr
Therefore, your Lord poured on them the disaster of (his) punishment surely, your Lord is ever on the watch. As for man, when his Lord tests him by giving him honor and gifts, he says: ‘My Lord has Honored me.’ But when He tests him by restricting his means of life, he says: ‘My Lord has humiliated me.’ No! But you honor not (show no kindness to) the orphan, nor do you urge on feeding of the poor. And you devour inheritance (of the weak), – all with greed you love wealth with much love. Verse 13-20 Surah Fajr / Surah Al Fajr
No! But when the earth is round to powder, and your Lord comes with the angels, in their ranks and Hell is brought near-on, that Day man will remember (his deeds), but How will that remembrance profit him? he will say: ‘Would that i had sent before me (good works) for my (future) life!’ But on that day none will punish as He (Allah) punishes nor will any bind (with chains) as he Binds. O soul at peace! Return to your Lord, Well-pleased (yourself), pleasing in His sight. Enter you, then among My honored slaves and enter you My Paradise. Verse 21-20 Surah Fajr / Surah Al Fajr
