Zuhar is the second namaz offered by Muslims in a day after Fajr. Zuhar is prayed in time that comes in afternoon like from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The namaz and its qaza timings keep on changing and are different in every country and area.
There are four parts of namaz e zuhar namely: four rikaat sunnat, four rikaat farz, two rikaat sunnat and two rikaat nafl.
Following are the steps involved in salat e zuhar but before them wuzu is performed.
Note that neeyat changes in all four steps. There is neeyat for every step and for every step you have to take the neeyat from first step and replace “four rikaat sunnat” with for example four rikaat farz if you’re offering farz and with two rikaat sunnat and two rikaat nafl if you are performing two rikaat sunnat and two rikaat nafl, respectively.
