The sixth and last Kalimah of Islam is Kalimah Radde Kufar which means the “word of rejection of disbelief.” The sixth Kalimah in Arabic is as follow;
اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّیْٓ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ اَنْ اُشْرِكَ بِكَ شَيْئًا وَّاَنَآ اَعْلَمُ بِهٖ وَ اَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَآ اَعْلَمُ بِهٖ تُبْتُ عَنْهُ وَ تَبَرَّأْتُ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَ الشِّرْكِ وَ الْكِذْبِ وَ الْغِيْبَةِ وَ الْبِدْعَةِ وَ النَّمِيْمَةِ وَ الْفَوَاحِشِ وَ الْبُهْتَانِ وَ الْمَعَاصِىْ كُلِّهَا وَ اَسْلَمْتُ وَ اَقُوْلُ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَّسُوْلُ اللهِؕ
Allāhumma innī aʿūḏu bika min an ušrika bika šayʾaw-wwa-anā aʿlamu bihi wa-staġfiruka limā lā aʿlamu bihi tubtu ʿanhu wa tabarra’tu mina-l-kufri wa-š-širki wa-l-kiḏhbi wa-l-ġībati wa-l-bidʿati wa-nnamīmati wa-l-fawāḥiši wa-l-buhtāni wa-l-maʿāṣī kullihā wa aslamtu wa aqūlu lā ilāha illā-llāhu Muḥammadu-r-rasūlu llāh.
“O Allah! I seek protection in You from that I should not join any partner with You and I have knowledge of it. I seek Your forgiveness from that which I do not know. I repent from it (ignorance) and I reject disbelief and joining partners with You and falsehood and backbiting and innovation in religion and tell-tales and bad deeds (shamelessness) and the slandering and the disobedience, all of them. I submit to Your will and I believe and I declare: There is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger.”
The sixth Kalimah is about rejecting the disbelief and joining partners with Allah. It also states the acceptance of Tauheed and Risalat. The Kalimah Radde Kufar can be explained in a way that we seek protection in Allah from disbelief and committing shirk i.e., joining partners with Allah when we have knowledge of it. Moreover, forgiveness is asked from Allah, of the sin about which we are unaware of or we don’t have knowledge of it and we repent from ignorance.
Further, in sixth Kalimah, all the evil deeds including disbelief, shirk (joining partners with Allah), falsehood or lying, backbiting, creating things from yourself in religion (biddat) or innovation in religion, tell-tales, shamelessness, blaming others falsely or slandering and disobedience are rejected.
In the last part of the sixth Kalimah acceptance of Tauheed and Risalat comes in which it is declared that none is worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad (SAWW) is the messenger of Allah. It is the declaration of faith that makes one a Muslim.
Joining partners or associating anything with Allah is shirk and is a major sin according to the religion of Islam. In Quran, it is ordered to not to commit shirk or associate anything with Allah.
In sixth Kalimah, the disbelief, shirk and all other evil deeds are rejected plus declaration of faith is made that can have a deep impact on the mind of people reciting it as Kalimah Radde Kufar is very comprehensive. It very beautifully rejects the evils of shirk and kufr at one point and accepts Tauheed and Risalat at the other hand. Therefore, in order to make our faith strong, we all should learn the last Kalimah of Islam alongwith other five kalimahs.
