Quran is the last book of Allah revealed on the Holy Prophet (SAWW) centuries before. The Muslims around the world learn and teach Quran in order to understand the sacred message of Allah (SWT). The person who memorizes Quran is called Hafiz-e-Quran if male and hafiza if female. There are several benefits and rewards of learning and memorizing Quran Majeed. A hadith about the rewards of hafiz is as under;
It was narrated from Hazrat Ayesha (RA) that the Prophet (SAWW) said: “The one who recites the Quran and learns it by heart, will be with the noble righteous scribes (in Heaven) and the one who exerts himself to learn the Quran by heart and recites it with great difficulty, will have a double reward.”
Quran is a primary source of knowledge for the Muslims. In case of any question or problem, Muslims should use Quran primarily to seek the knowledge about the issue. For this purpose, learning Quran is very essential as without proper learning, seeking knowledge from it is not possible or easy.
It is a hadith that, “the best among you is the one who learns the Quran and teaches it to the others.”
