Life story of Hazrat Nuh (AS):

Prophet to the people who worshipped idols:

There were people back in the days who used to make statues of some good people after their death to remember them but later generations started to worship them and treat them as their gods. To guide these people to the right path, Allah (SWT) sent Hazrat Nuh (AS). Thus, Hazrat Nuh (AS) was sent to the people who used to worship idols.

Hazrat Nuh (AS) guided his people to the right path:

Prophet Nuh (AS) guided his people to worship none except Allah. Also, he used to take the attention of his people towards the universe and its mysteries. Hazrat Nuh (AS) told his people that devil had been misleading them for a long time. He continued preaching of the message of Allah among his people and told them about Hellfire in which those people are thrown who disobey Allah.

Disbelievers asked Hazrat Nuh (AS) to back off:

Only poor people believed Hazrat Nuh (AS) while rich didn’t. The rich people asked Hazrat Nuh (AS) to stop his preaching. He refused to back off and thus gave his own arguments.

Hazrat Nuh (AS) asked Allah (SWT) to destroy non-believers and Allah accepted that:

Hazrat Nooh (AS) tried a lot to make his people believe in Allah but whenever he used to call them to Allah, they either ran away or put their fingers in their ears so that they couldn’t listen to him. He realized this in time that all his endeavours are going in vain and thus, he became tired and sad after trying a lot to call his people to Allah. Hence, Hazrat Nuh (AS) asked Allah (SWT) to destroy non-believers.

“And Nuh (Noah) said: “My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers on the earth! If You leave them, they will mislead Your slaves, and they will beget none but wicked disbelievers.”” (Surah Nuh 71:26-27)
